G.P.'s Guide to Sexiness
IntroductionIt has come to my attention that many gamers have become confused as of late. It seems that they have mistakenly confused the technically impressive and aesthetically pleasing PSP with a member of the opposite sex that they find sexually appealing. While I was able to let it go up to this point the fact that I couldn’t get through my copy of EGM without seeing the word sexy appear in regards to the PSP's attractiveness no less then 5 times made it painfully obvious that this terminology wasn’t going away any time soon and could be detrimental to the survival of the gamer species. The following is a quick reference guide to what is and isn’t sexy. According to dictionary.com sexy is defined as; Arousing or tending to arouse sexual desire or interest. So lets take a look at what one would consider sexy. (This guide is geared towards men as women usually do not have the problem determining the difference between what is sexually attractive and what is a technological item.) If you are a female and are having this problem feel free to replace the following images with a pic of Brad Pitt and Collin Ferril…ummmmm ..so my wife says.
This is Sarah Carter she is attractive, sexy if you will. Please take the time to notice the cute face, nice body, etc etc.
This is Angelina Jolie, notice the brooding eyes, the large, full lips, the come hither stare. Very sexy indeed.
This is a PSP. It’s a game machine. The artistic design is indeed impressive, the graphical capabilities astounding, yet it is a game machine. Incapable of returning the physical affection you seek. If you are waking up nights with man stuff occurring caused by visions of this, you seriously need help and unfortunately I am not qualified to provide you with the services you need. I would suggest seriously looking into a psychiatric counseling.
To those that are in the game journalism business and continue to perpetuate this, to you I say shame, .shame on you. It’s already hard enough to be taken seriously without others reading stuff like this and reaffirming their ideas of our inherent dorkiness. Lets stop this terminology now before it becomes the next “Xtreme”. Thank you for your time, and help in combating this latest issue facing the gaming nation.By Jeremy Mravlja Gamer's Perspective Agree?
