Last month was a real low on new demo/beta/content. But we are back this month with a extra long edition of PotM. There are several games here today I can’t on into details about because of a NDA agreement, but I will give you my over perception of the information I’ve read and the time I’ve spent with each. This month’s list of goodies starts with Crysis (Currently enrolled in the beta program, so I can not give really any details besides my post-impressions), Universe at War: Earth Assault, Tabula Rasa, Exteel, Hellgate: London and more. So with out further delay lets begin: |
Crysis
-PC
I was able to get into the beta program for a short time and I must say the game is coming along nicely. The gameplay is solid and for the most part smooth. (Keep in mind it’s a beta)

Universe at War: Earth Assault
-Xbox360/PC
This game started off with mixed impressions, but after playing in the beta I must say it is shaping up to be a distinct RTS. Each race feels and plays different. For instance, playing the Hierarchy (with their giant walkers) and playing Masari (who collect resources with matter generators that exploded and damage everything around them) play very uniquely from each other. Both require different players. The other detail that has extraordinary quality is the music, which is top notch in today’s standards.

Tabula Rasa
-PC
Because of a NDA agreement I won’t be able to go into any depth here, but with that said the game looks nice and the gameplay isn’t seen very often in the MMO universe. While still stat based to some degree it plays more like a First Person shooter.
|

Exteel
-PC
Not much to this game… its average. I can’t into details why because of NDA, but this game feels outdated in more ways then one. It has potential to be a great mech game.
|

Hellgate: London
-PC
This game is fun to say the least. It shaping up to be worthy of Diablo 2 status with how well Flagship has thought it through. I really wish I could go into depth here, but NDA strikes again,

Bladestorm
-PS3/Xbox360
Koei is back with something remotely new. Bladestorm sets you up as a mercenary in which you get to control your own avatar in battle that can take over squads on the battlefield.
