I know that when it comes right down to it, you don’t always want to read an entire article to find out if you should see a movie or not. So, with this in mind, I give you my quick picks, short, to the point reasons why you should or shouldn’t see the films that are opening this weekend. Think of it as a strategy guide for moviegoers.

Alice In Wonderland: C-

• Why you should see it: You love Tim Burton and want to see how his style translates to 3D.
• Why you should pass: Though visually striking at times, the film ultimately feels flat.

Brooklyn’s Finest: C+

• Why you should see it: Wesley Snipes is alive!!!!
• Why you should pass: Just see Training Day. It’s more or less the same thing.
