Xbox

The Hardware

Released in the U.S. on November 15th 2001 the Xbox was Microsoft's first entry into the home video game arena. Originally priced at $299 and slammed for it's heafty size, both console and controller wise. Microsoft quickly proved that it could easily adapt to the videogame market by rectifying its problems. The Xbox's crowning achievement was producing what is still the home console market's best online service in Xbox Live.
